70 pre-finalists of the "7 Wonders of the National Gastronomy"

The choice is problematic and create mouth watering dishes and many missing with my delightful Queijadas Pereira, but all this, um, um, it's juicy. In times of crisis is good to know that we have these authentic delicacies.
This is a first selection made by a panel of 70 experts of between 433 nominations submitted.
The region of the country with the most elected shortlist of finalists is the Alentejo, with 12 plates. Below is the region of Lisbon and Setúbal with 9 pre-finalists and the Azores, Madeira, Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro and Beira with 8 plates each respectively. With six candidates elected is the Algarve and Entre Douro e Minho. The Beira Interior has 3 courses elected and the region of Estremadura and Ribatejo has 2.
Of these 70 plates, 21 figures will be chosen by invited to select the 21 finalists, which will be presented May 7. Then comes the public vote by SMS, phone call, internet and Facebook, which runs until September 7. The seven winners are revealed on September 10 in a ceremony broadcast live from the Santarém by RTP.
