38 Units outstanding heritage value of the tourist district of Castelo Branco

We have been inserted into this space to list, by district, the local notables in Portugal (units outstanding assets) worth all the effort in its defense, rehabilitation and release, because in addition to the historical / natural and aesthetic (a regional national or even global) are also strong in March of identity and self-esteem for all of us, but very especially to the residents where there are these sites. They are also a valuable economic resource. Here is a list of notable heritage of Portugal in the following districts (the number refers to forward the amount of existing assets):
- Beja District (45)
- District of Bragança (62)
- District of Coimbra (106)
- Leiria District (100)
- District of Évora (97)
- District of Portalegre (62)
Do not just sad people in the district of Castelo Branco with the number of local notables in Portugal, because I prefer a thousand times for your ride the plains and mountains that traverse the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto, so degraded, polluted and over that people in the hinders the will of the movement. It took longer to traverse the distance between two notable points in the same county from the vicinity of those big cities, than to make a few dozen kilometers, calm between two notable points in the district of Castelo Branco.
Yet the district of Castelo Branco presents situations and extended to all type of assets outstanding:
Contains 5-notable villages, and four classified as Historical Villages of Portugal and even now the village of curiosity that is not classified wrongly is to Alpedrinha (which is up to town, but so is Belmonte, who was ranked):
It has two-pole thermal important: Unhais Monfortinho and Sierra;
The county-Covilhã is integrated into the magnificent Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela, ah, not that we do Tejo International Natural Park is also here, though often inaccessible by road for ordinary vehicles;
-In 2006 the Geopark Naturtejo Meseta Meridional was inserted into the worldwide network of Geoparks ( read here ) to defend and promote their points of interest, as exemplified by the Doors of Rodão or cruzianas (bilobites) of trilobites from Penha Garcia.
All these 36 units are for Heritage Notable people of the district, but also for all of us, a factor of integration of collective memory and their ability unifying consciousness, cohesion and identity of a country, so that the ignorant politicians porfiam to annihilate.
